Verdane invests SEK 150 million in Inovia - the leading Swedish big data and AI solutions provider

Inovia is the leading niche Artificial Intelligence (AI) consulting and solutions provider in Sweden. The company has developed a strong set of AI tools and frameworks, for example one of the leading AI based virtual assistants in the world (AIVA) and the leading Voice to Text application for Swedish. With Verdaneís investment, Inovia plans to accelerate the development and commercialisation of AI products and solutions and position the company for expansion to other Nordic countries.

Verdane Capital IX acquires two companies from Skagerak Maturo

Verdane Capital IX today announced it has closed a transaction with Skagerak Maturo containing Skagerak Venture Capital Iís and Skagerak Seed Capital IIís ownership in Zisson, a provider of cloud-based communication center software, and Penetrace, a provider of software tools to marketing professionals. The plan is to launch the companies internationally.

Verdane backs The Humble Co. to reduce plastic waste from consumables

Noel Abdayem, a dentist turned entrepreneur, started The Humble Co. after experiencing the negative environmental impact of plastic waste whilst performing voluntary work in Jamaica. The idea to sell eco-friendly toothbrushes proved to be a great success and more than 6.5 million Humble Brushes have been sold to date. Noel now brings onboard a new investor in Verdane to accelerate The Humble Co.ís expansion in the global market.
